COMMON TERMS USED IN THESE RULES:
These are the official rules that govern how the Good Gamer Group Promotions will operate for Contests and Giveaways. In these rules, “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to Good Gamer Group, the sponsor of each Contest or Giveaway. “You” refers to an eligible Contest / Giveaway entrant.
These rules will apply to all Contest / Giveaways conducted under the Good Gamer Group Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, and Facebook accounts.
DEFINITIONS TO DISTINGUISH BETWEEN A CONTEST OR GIVEAWAY – Please consult with the following definitions to determine which set of Rules applies. We will make every attempt to provide the correct label each week to guide you in what Rules apply.
Contests
Contests are promotions that require entries to give an exact Correct Answer or proximity to the Correct Answer as dictated by each specific promotion. Contests are considered games of skill.
Giveaways
Giveaways are open to anyone that completes the necessary requirements as stated by the promotion which includes but are not limited to: comments, like, follows, emails, or otherwise through the Good Gamer Group’s official social media platforms. Giveaways do not require an exact or approximate Correct Answer.
CONTEST RULES – The following rules apply to Trivia promotions labeled as “contest” or “contests” (the “Contest” or “Contests”). For Giveaways, please see the Giveaway Rules below.
CORRECT ANSWERS:
Contests require the determination by Interpret of a correct answer, as determined by Interpret in its sole discretion and consistent with data collected by Interpret in determining the answer (the “Correct Answer” or “Correct Answers”). Other sources of information or data, unless otherwise noted in the promotion, are not considered Correct Answers regardless to the similarity of the question being posed.
WHAT ARE THE START AND END DATES?
This program will consist of weekly trivia promotions, where the start date will be determined by the day and time in Central Standard Time by the first social media post from an official Good Gamer Group social media handle. The end date will be at 11:59PM Central Standard Time on the day before the Answer and Winners are announced, which is stipulated in the original social media post for that specific promotion’s trivia game. Interpret reserves the right in its sole discretion to discontinue such promotions at any time, or to offer promotions on a less than weekly basis.
CAN I ENTER?
You are eligible to enter this Contest if you meet the following requirements at time of entry:
· You are 18 years of age or older on the respective social media platform (for promotions) or are a member of Good Gamer; in those few jurisdictions where 18 (or older) is still not considered the age of majority, please have your parent or legal guardian provide their permission for you to submit your entry; and
You are NOT a resident of any of the following regions: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria, Region of Crimea, and anywhere else prohibited by U.S. law; and
· You are NOT an employee of Good Gamer Group or an employee of the parent company Interpret LLC.; and
· You are NOT involved in any part of the administration and execution of this Contest; and
· You are NOT an immediate family (parent, parent of spouse, sibling, spouse’s siblings, spouse/domestic partner, child) or household member of a Good Gamer Group employee, an employee of the parent company Interpret LLC., or a person involved in any part of the administration and execution of this Contest.
This Contest is void outside the geographic area described above and wherever else prohibited by law.
HOW DO I ENTER?
When the Good Gamer Group’s weekly trivia promotion is a Contest, the Good Gamer Group will post a question or “prompt” on social media requesting submissions, and in some instances setting parameters for what will be considered a Correct Answer. Respondents can attempt to answer by using their social media handle and replying to the question via the @goodgamergroup on that particular social media account. To qualify you must be eligible to participate as stated above and you must provide a response in the comments section of the post. Comments that are irrelevant to the question asked will be immediately disqualified (and likely erased). Furthermore, all comments used to enter the Contest / Giveaway must be set to “unprotected” or “public.” The dates, winner determination, and prizes are subject to change, and will be made known if such occurrence takes place.
We will only accept one (1) entry per eligible person per Contest per social media platform. Non-winning entries will not be included in subsequent trivia promotions; you must enter each new trivia promotion separately. Additionally, any person determined by Interpret in its sole discretion to be creating multiple accounts to enter the trivia promotions multiple times will be deemed ineligible to participate in current and possibly future promotions.
We are not responsible for entries that we do not receive for any reason, or for entries that we receive but are not decipherable for any reason.
To summarize, we will automatically disqualify for the following inexhaustive list of reasons:
· Any incomplete or illegible entry; and
· Any entries that are suspected of resulting from the creation of multiple accounts from the same individual; and
· Any entries that we receive from you that are in excess of the entry limit described above; and
· Any entries received outside of the specified time slot above; and
· Any entries where it is apparent to Interpret in its sole discretion that the entrant is not eligible per these rules.
WINNER DETERMINATION AND PRIZES
After the end of the submission period for each Contest, responses deemed to be the Correct Answer will be identified, and from those Correct Answers a winner will be chosen at random and notified via direct message on the respective platform from which their comment came from. Once Interpret has confirmed the winner’s eligibility, they will be tagged on our winners reveal post, and prize claim instructions will be sent via email to the email address they provide to us by DM. There can be one or multiple winners for each Contest; whether or not there is a winner from the social media platform you participated on will vary as entries will be obtained across all platforms. Common prize items include, but are not limited to, digital gift cards. Prizes will have a fair market value and are subject to vary.
If the notification that we send you is returned as undeliverable, or you are otherwise unreachable for any reason as determined by Interpret in its sole discretion, you will be deemed to forfeit the prize, and we may award the prize to an alternate winner. Please allow 2-3 weeks to receive your prize. The number of winners each week is subject to change.
You will not be eligible to redeem a Pre-paid Virtual Visa or Mastercard in the following countries: Bahamas, Colombia, North Korea, Syria, or any other country where these types of gift cards are not accepted.
If you are a potential winner and you are 18 or older but are not considered of the age of majority in your place of legal residence, we may require your parent or legal guardian to sign all required forms on your behalf. If you do not complete the required forms as instructed and/or return the required forms within the time period listed on the winner notification message, we may disqualify you and select a new winner. If there is a dispute as to who is the potential winner, we will consider the potential winner to be the authorized account holder of the account used to enter the Contest. If you are a potential winner, we may require you to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability/Publicity Release and a W-9 tax form or W-8 BEN tax form within 10 days of notification.
If you are a confirmed as a winner or a Contest:
You may not trade your prize for cash or any other merchandise or services. However, if any advertised prize is unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value, and;
If you accept a prize, you will be solely responsible for any applicable taxes related to accepting the prize; and
You may not designate someone else as the winner. If you are ineligible or unwilling to accept your prize, we may award it to another winner; and
If you are otherwise eligible for the Contest, but are not considered of the age of majority in your place of residence, we may award the prize to your parent / legal guardian on your behalf; and
Unless otherwise noted, all prizes are subject to their manufacturer’s warranty and / or terms and conditions.
WHAT OTHER CONDITIONS AM I AGREEING TO BY ENTERING THE CONTEST?
· To abide by these Official Rules; and
· To release and hold harmless Good Gamer Group and its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injury, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this Contest, or any prize won; and
· That Good Gamer Group’s decisions will be final and binding on all matters related to this Contest; and
· That, by accepting a prize, Good Gamer Group may use of your proper name and state of residence online and in print, or in any other media, in connection with this Contest, without payment or compensation to you, except where prohibited by law.
WHAT LAWS GOVERN THE WAY THESE CONTESTS ARE EXCUTED AND ADMINISTRATED?
This Contest will be governed by the laws of the State of California, and by participating you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts of the State of California for any disputes arising out of this Contest.
WHAT IF SOMETHING UNEXPECTED HAPPENS AND THE CONTEST CAN’T RUN AS PLANNED?
If someone cheats, or a virus, bug, catastrophic event, or any other unforeseen or unexpected event that cannot be reasonably anticipated or controlled, (also referred to as force majeure) affects the fairness and / or integrity of these Contest, we reserve the right to cancel, change or suspend the Contests. This right is reserved whether the event is due to technical or human error. If a solution cannot be found to restore the integrity of the Contest, we reserve the right to select winners from among all eligible entries received before we had to cancel, change, or suspend the Contest.
If you attempt to compromise the integrity or the legitimate operation of any Interpret promotions or services by hacking or by cheating or committing fraud in ANY way, we may seek damages from you to the fullest extent permitted by law. Further, we may ban you from participating in any of our future promotions or services.

HOW DO I ENTER?
When the Good Gamer Group’s weekly trivia promotion is a Giveaway, the Good Gamer Group will post a “prompt” on social media with information on how to enter the random drawing, typically by having you provide a specific comment to the @goodgamergroup on that particular social media platform. To qualify you must be eligible to participate as stated above and you must provide a proper response in the comments section of the post. Comments that are not the proper response as requested will be immediately disqualified (and likely erased). Furthermore, all comments used to enter the Giveaway must be set to “unprotected” or “public.” The dates, winner determination, and prizes are subject to change, and will be made known if such occurrence takes place.
We will only accept one (1) entry per eligible person per Giveaway per social media platform. Non-winning entries will not be included in subsequent trivia promotions; you must enter each promotion separately.
